2 cups flour
2/3 cup sugar
1 Tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 cups unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp vanilla
1. Preheat oven to 325° F.
2. Spray a bundt pan or a 10 inch spring form pan with nonfat cooking spray. A layered cake pan is not recommended due to this being a denser cake.
3. Combine all the dry ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Mix well.
4. Add applesauce and vanilla and mix until smooth. Spread batter into the pan.
5. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
