¼ cup old fashion oats
½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries (thawed)
½ TBSP. ground flax seed
½ cup low-fat cottage cheese
½ tsp. brown sugar
Pinch of cinnamon
Dash of vanilla extract
1. Place ingredients in microwave safe bowl and microwave for one minute.
2. If using a stove top, make oats according to package directions. While hot, stir in remaining ingredients. Allow to cool for 1-2 minutes.
3. You can always add more berries and chia seeds. Avoiding sugar? Add a bit of honey, agave or date syrup. Nature’s sweeteners are gold.
