Ingredients
For brownies:
1/2 cup peanut butter powder (pat down the powder, 2 oz)
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup semisweet mini chocolate chips
For peanut butter swirl:
4 oz peanut butter powder (just under 1 cup)
2 Tbsp powdered sugar
1/2 cup nonfat milk
1/4 tsp salt
Directions
1. Combine first 5 ingredients for brownies until well combined.
2. Add eggs, applesauce, vanilla and sugar and mix well. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
3. Spray 8 x 8 inch baking pan with non-stick spray. Spread the brownie mixture in pan.
4. Combine all ingredients for peanut butter swirl until mixture is smooth. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter mixture on top of brownie batter.
5. Using a knife, swirl the peanut butter mixture into the brownie batter.
6. Bake at 350°F for about 22-25 minutes or until top of brownies is no longer gooey.
7. Cool completely before cutting.
