Ingredients
1 small ripe banana
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup nonfat milk
2 Tbsp (1/2 ounce) peanut butter powder
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions
1. Mash banana in cereal bowl with a fork.
2. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well mixed.
3. Cover bowl and put it in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours.
Notes:
–This can be served either cold or warm.
–Add fresh or dried fruit on top if desired.
–You can also substitute other seasonings: 1/2 tsp vanilla a extract, 1/2 tsp citrus zest, and other spices such as nutmeg, ground cloves, allspice, cardamom, mace or ginger.
–Can triple or quadruple this recipe and store extra in the refrigerator for uptimes to 4 days so you’ll have something ready for breakfast.
