Crinkles
Ingredients:
1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
¼ cup non-fat sour cream
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened
2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Directions:
1) Beat brown sugar, oil, and sour
cream with electric mixer. Add egg
and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
2) In a separate bowl, combine
flour, cocoa powder, coffee granules,
baking soda, and salt.
3) Add flour mixture to first mixture
and mix well. Refrigerate dough until
firm about 3-4 hours.
4) Preheat oven to 350?F.
5) Place powdered sugar into a
small bowl . Cut dough into 1-inch pieces and roll
into small balls. Roll each ball in bowl until lightly
dusted with sugar.
6) Place cookies on ungreased cookie
sheets. Bake for 10 minutes or until the tops of
cookies are firm to touch.
Makes
30 cookies (1 cookie per serving)
